We would greatly appreciate you and members of your party adhering to these policies to insure a wonderful stay for you and future guests.
We try to accommodate your schedule to check in time. If possible, we'll allow for an early check in, but in most cases check in is 3pm. Check out is 10am, again, unless prior arrangements are made for late checkout. If no prior arrangement's are made for late check out and you have not vacated your lodging when housekeeping arrives, there will be added charges.
We do not charge a deposit upon booking, but we do take full payment on arrival, not upon departure.
We require a 14 day cancelation notice prior to your reservations.
If you must cancel your reservation within 14 days of your scheduled arrival date, we will charge the card on file 1 nights stay plus tax. If we do resell the cabin/room you had reserved, we will refund your charged amount.
No refunds or credits for early departure or bad weather conditions.
Bear Tree Cabins and Rooms are self catering. We will provide you with a starter supply of paper towling, toilet paper, dish soap and garbage bags in the cabins.
If these supplies run out during your stay, you are responsible for your own restocking. Please take with you what you bring in. You can find these and other
grocery items at Lake View General and Young's stores.
Each Cabin has a private firepit. You're welcome to bring your own wood or you can purchase with us for $5.00 per bundle. Order ahead and we'll bring to your cabin or grab it from our wood box with cash box.
Your fire MUST BE PUT OUT when retiring or l leaving the cabin. Any unattended fires will result in a $100 charge.
We want everyone to have a great time while visiting our area. We ask that you be respectful of your neighbors
and property owners.
We ask that you refrain from being loud after 10pm to 7am.
There is a 2 dog per cabins limit. $25 per dog for the length of your stay.
DOGS ONLY, NO CATS.
Dogs are NOT ALLOWED in BEDS, Dogs are NOT ALLOWED on SOFAS
Dogs are allowed in our cabins only. The Gathering, The Glen Lodge and Inn at Bear Tree do not allow dogs.
Dogs are NOT TO BE LEFT ALONE UNLESS CRATED.
Their messes are your messes, please clean up after your dog.
This includes droppings outside.
Any additional cleaning due to your pets stay with us will result in added charges to your card without notice.
Fee will be based on the amount of added cleaning with a $50.00 minimum. The abuse of some have resulted in our becoming more strict with our pet policy. We will only to continue to be "pet friendly" with everyone's cooperation.
Charcoal Grills are available year round. You're welcome to bring your own charcoal, but if you forget, we have some on site and you can purchase a bag for $10.00
If you prefer a gas grill, we can provide you one for $25.
Smoking is NOT ALLOWED in any of our Cabins, The Inn or Lodge.
If smoking has been detected after your departure, your card will be charged a $200.00 fee.
We ask that you do not enter the cabins with excessive mud on clothing or shoes.
Please do your best to remove most of the mud before entering.
Any additional cleaning due to mud will result in cleaning fees applied to your card on file.
A 3% cleaning fee is applied all cabins/rooms.
We ask that you leave your cabin in a clean and tidy state.
Please have your dishes washed. If your cabin has a dishwasher, please run before leaving.
Please leave your used toweling in the bathtub and leave the beds you've slept in unmade.
Please make sure that you have turned off and covered the gas grills.
Please do not leave the gas grills with excessive burnt on food.
Excessive mess left by guests or dogs may result in added cleaning fees.
